Aromatic evening Chemworld Team!
I was about to take a nap when I received a text message informing about making a testimonial entry how Chemworld changed my life. Thank you for the opportunity and well...please have your handkerchiefs' ready because my story will let you shed a tear :)
It was year 2007 when I got tired of the daily routine being an 8:00 to 6:00 office girl. It came to my mind that years passed without me enjoying being a mother for my only child. I live in Imus City, Cavite and my office is in Pasay City. I was leaving my house as early as 5:00 o'clock AM to avoid the terrible traffic along Aguinaldo Highway and arriving home very late in the evening because as the Finance and Administrative Manager of an import-export company, I had extra obligations to settle before going home.
At that same time, I saw your advertisement in Manila Bulletin. Fast-track, I attended a weekend seminar about perfume making in your Makati office. After the seminar, I then started selling perfumes to my relatives, office mates and friends and I made extra good money from it.
Mid-year 2007, I finally decided to quit my job and do business here in Cavite. My main purpose was to try building a company which can give me the opportunity to grow as I am tending the needs of my growing up child. I already had a bookkeeping office at that time managed by a once trusted friend, but that trusted friend turned out to be a thief so I took over the operations of the company. In my search for other opportunities, I was led to Cavite's 1st MSME Summit in July 2007. From that day on, my simple & very ordinary life changed....
In the summit, we were informed about the various programs of the national government and Cavite LGU. I was introduced to the heads of various government agencies and was invited to a series of seminars and other trainings sponsored by DTI-Cavite. In one entrep forum I was asked what I do for a living? What business am I doing and what can I contribute to the betterness of Cavite entrepreneurs. Having the knowledge in perfume making in mind, I humbly presented myself as a perfume maker. Their next question was, do you know how to teach perfume making and are you willing to share your knowledge to the people of Cavite? My answer wa a big, YES!
Never did I know that the person I was talking to was Mr. Rene Broqueza, Head of Provincial, Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office or PCLEDO. He is in-charge of hiring trainers for various livelihood projects being implemented by the local government headed by then Cavite Governor Ayong Maliksi. The next thing that I can recall was I was invited to present my craft infront of the officers of PCLEDO. Fortunately, I was hired as their official trainer in soap and perfume making in December 2007.
From the simple office to house routine, Chemworld changed my life in a way that I was given the opportunity to also change and touch other people's lives. My job as a livelihood trainer not only give me extra income but also the chance to interact with people from all walks of life and see the beauty of the whole province of Cavite. Rain or shine, once scheduled, the training must go on. In our mandate there is no turning back. We have to deliver what we are called for in the best way we can and I am absolutely happy for that. Chemworld has also changed the lives of the countless people I've taught on how to make perfume and other products that your company are offering like melt & pour soap making, lotion making, hand sanitizer making and massage oil making. I can no longer count them because we've been doing our livelihood trainings all year round since 2007. All of them, I am referring to your SM Dasmariñas and SM Trece Martires Branch for the supplies.
To sum it up, Chemworld changed my life our lives rather, FRAGRANTLY BEAUTIFUL.
Thank you for coming into our lives, CHEMWORLD FRAGRANCE FACTORY!
